Seamstress and owner Laura L. Briggs began making Tipis in 1973. Always concerned with design and long term durability, Laura's inspired craftsmanship and skill combine to bring you Spirit Tipis. An Arizona native with a strong Southwestern background in Custom Canvas and Cowboy gear, Laura applies the sensibilities of a professional seamstress to the structural aspects of the Indian Tipi.
Laura lives in Skull Valley, Arizona, (22 miles outside of Prescott) and makes the Tipis in her shop on her property. Surrounded by the beauty of the high deserts, the Bradshaw Mountain Ranges and a clear view of Kirkland Peak, Laura loves making Tipis. She also loves Camping, Rendezvousing, Dancing.
	When at home, Laura enjoys the company of her constant companion Shiloh (Lab/Chow mix), her cat and some chickens. Laura enjoys living in the country along with other family members, who live on the Briggs family property. A few hand picked helpers complete the crew at... Spirit Tipis.
